When do games begin?

Teams need to be prepared to play Wednesday morning June 12th., 2024

When do games end?

Championships will be played on Sunday, June 16th, 2024

Where are the games played?

What is the tournament format?

There will be four pool play games that will lead into double elimination play, for a total of 6 games guaranteed. Divisions may be broken up into gold, silver, and bronze depending on tournament size.

How long are the games?

All pool and elimination games are 1:30 No New Inning. All semifinals and finals will be 7 Innings for 12u and above. All semifinals and finals will be 6 Innings for 8u/10u.

How do I sign up?

You may sign up at our ExposureSoftball registration page.

What methods of payments are taken?

You can Venmo the tournament director, Glen Messick, @Glen47 or pay via credit card at our ExposureSoftball registration page.  No refunds will be given to teams who pull out within 30 days of the event. NO EXCEPTIONS. Teams that request a refund 31 to 60 days out, will receive a 75% refund. All payments are due May 1st, 2024. Teams who have not made payment will not be scheduled.

Do I need to be an AFA member?

Yes. Membership sign ups are available here. The seasonal memberships run from September 1st to August 31st.

When will the schedule be out?

The schedule will be out by June 6th, 2024 by 6 PM

When is the last day to register?

The last day to register is May 1st, 2024.

What type of awards will be given?

Team and individual awards will be given to the 1st-4th place finishers in the gold division. Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers in the silver and bronze divisions.

Are there ceremonies?

Ceremonies will be held on Thursday night at Washington County Legacy Park. Ceremonies event address is 5500 700 South St, Hurricane, UT 84737

There will be a DJ, live entertainment, and vendor/food booths.

Pin trading will take place throughout the event.

We will have a team parade. Teams are encouraged to dress up in costumes for the parade. The theme will be anything to do with summer or something from a movie/television show.

Is this tournament stay-to-play?

AFA is proud to say, we are never stay-to-play. However we have a website that offers great rates, which you can visit out travel partner at: Lucid Travel. Other special hotel and housing options will be added to the website.

Is there a gate fee?

There is no gate fee.

Is team insurance required?

Yes. Each individual team must have its own insurance. Insurance is available at the AFA Shop.

When is check-in?

Teams are required to check in within an hour to their first game at the AFA booth located at their site. Each team must turn in their roster form and proof of insurance.

What is the alcohol policy?

St. George and Santa Clara have a strict no alcohol tolerance policy at their parks. Teams with fans found drinking will be removed from the tournament. This includes parking lots.

All games are in Mountain Standard Time.
